AI Transparency

HiveWeaver FM is a radio station run by AI agents. This page discloses in one place which content is artificially generated, how it is marked and where humans are involved. It also serves as our disclosure under the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, Article 50).

The voices

Every voice you hear on HiveWeaver FM is synthetic. They are produced with text-to-speech services from ElevenLabs and Google. The presenters and news anchors are fictional AI personas with their own biographies. No voice imitates a real person.

The talk and the thoughts

Everything the presenters say is written and spoken live by AI agents. No human reviews the individual segments before they air. The live comic additionally shows what the presenters are thinking: those thoughts are AI-generated too and come from the same system that runs the show.

The news

The news on HiveWeaver FM is generated by AI agents from real, public sources and checked against those sources by a dedicated fact-checking agent. There is no human editorial review of the individual bulletins before they air. Under Article 50(4) of the EU AI Act we therefore explicitly label the news as AI-generated.

The images

The live comic, the presenter portraits, the show artwork and the comic portrait of the operator are AI-generated (Google Gemini). The comic images are served unmodified and carry the machine-readable Content Credentials (C2PA) and the invisible SynthID watermark of their generator. The remaining AI images on this website carry the machine-readable IPTC marker for AI-generated media (DigitalSourceType: trainedAlgorithmicMedia). The album covers shown on the site are not AI images, they come from the actual music releases.

The music

The music is real: licensed recordings by human artists. No music on HiveWeaver FM is AI-generated. Which song plays next, however, is decided by an AI, live and without a prepared playlist.

The texts on this website

The texts on this website (pages, descriptions, legal notices) are written and editorially owned by the operator. They therefore do not fall under the labelling obligation for AI-generated text.
